Pastor:
Dr. Kenneth Harold Moore
Pastor Moore came to Jacksonville, NC in 1979 and became the pastor of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. He was there for three years and then went to Herring Circle FWB Church in Spartanburg, SC where he stayed for two years before being called by Emmanuel FWB Church and asked to come back and be their pastor again. Pastor Moore answered the call and returned to Jacksonville, NC in 1985 and pastored Emmanuel for ten years. Pastor Moore felt the Lord leading him toward starting a new work and thus began Cornerstone FWB Church along highway 258 just south of Richlands, NC. Cornerstone FWB Church had their ground breaking services for our new building on November 9th 1996. We had our first service in our sanctuary on May 25, 1997 where we had one soul get saved.
God has been so good to us through all of this time. He supplied every need we had concerning the building of our new church and we were able to move in early. We have a church full of loving people that support one another through the bad times as well as the good. We welcome everyone to come and join us for fellowship and good old fashioned worship.

Teen Leader:
Christy Morrison
A church youth minister is concerned with today's youth and leads teenagers in their spiritual and personal development. They need to possess great leadership qualities and experience in sharing Gods word with teenagers. They lead the youth activities, outreach programs and youth services within the church and often work with motivating and training other staff members. A youth minister should be disciplined, self-motivated, organized, posses good communication skills, spiritual maturity, have a good understanding of the bible, demonstrate Godly character and lead by example.

Secretary:
Beverly Morrison
The position of Church Secretary at Cornerstone FWB Church is a very special ministry available at our church. Consequently, the person chosen to this position should be a Christian with general office and people skills who truly feels “called to Christian service” and who is willing and able to go “above and beyond” the personal investment in a job that is considered “normal” in the secular world of work.
